Welcome to the SimplexTerra family! Our story is one of friendship, passion, and a love for the natural world. We started as a small group of childhood friends. As we grew up, our bond grew stronger, and so did our love for an active lifestyle. We enjoyed playing sports together, whether it was football, lacrosse, soccer, volleyball, basketball or just running around in the yard. We found that nothing compared to the time we spent being active, especially outdoors.

As we entered our early 20s, we began to slow down and appreciate the world around us. We enjoyed the beauty of the natural world during long bike rides, hikes, and camping trips. It was during this time that our founder and friend, Jared August, gathered us around a round table in El Sobrante, CA. He had a vision to create fitness products that were simple and fun to use. He wanted to share this vision with the world, and so we set off on our mission.

Our mission is to provide products that promote fitness, sustainability, and make it simple to do so. We believe that fitness isn't easy. Though we believe it should be easy and enjoyable, and that it should not come at the expense of the environment.
